Reiki

Reiki is a natural system of energy healing, a method of drawing concentrated life force energy and radiating it.

It is a gentle hands-on technique for stress reduction, relaxation and healing.  It is an energetic healing method, where the Reiki healer is a channel through which energy flow. The healer directs energy from the external environment to areas it may be needed in the body of the recipient.  It is based on the principle that all matter and life is made up of energy- in the same way that our physical body may experience pain, tension, injury and illness, so can our energy be blocked, unbalanced and limited within our body.

Reiki healing helps to balance the major systems of the body, remove blockages from the key energy centres, repair tears in the aura, release emotional trauma and help restore well being and bring us into balance and harmony. The Reiki attunements allow the healer to connect with his own core, sensitivity and intuition which brings a personal and spiritual evolution to his life.

 

Reiki Levels

Level I- Reiki Level I is taught over 4 days to those that wish to enter into the magic world of energy healing and use the Reiki Energy to heal themselves and others.

Subjects covered in the Reiki I course include:

• Reiki hand positions for self healing and for healing others

• Reiki principles and history

• The energetic anatomy of the body: the five koshas- energy layers of the body that create the human aura, energy centers (chakras) their functioning and imbalances.

• Special Reiki techniques: Gassho meditation, aura cleaning, chakra balancing, beyonsen (sickness accumulation) scanning, laser technique, healing the immune and hormonal systems, group Reiki, breathing excises for relaxation and for lifting the body vibration.

• Healer’s skills: practices for increasing sensitivity to energy, techniques for calming the mind, nourishment of receivers, aspects in conducting a Reiki session.

• Receiving attunements to open the energy channels and purify the energy field of the body.

• Practical practice: two self healing sessions, receiving two Reiki healing sessions from other members of the group, giving at least three Reiki sessions to different recipients.

 

Course Cost: $100

 

• Healers who choose to stay at the Vagabond Temple- yoga and meditation retreat center in Sihanoukville, Cambodia after the course finished will continue their learning and will get plenty of opportunities to further practice on community members and friends.

 

Level II\ advanced level- Level II is taught over 4 days to those that wish to go deeper in their healing abilities and spiritual growth. Subjects of the course include:

• The three Reiki Symbols: the power symbol, the Mental/Emotional Healing symbol, Distant Healing symbol.

• Physical anatomy of the body and connection between  body organs and different emotions.

• Reiki techniques:  Intuitive healing, Reiki for physical detox, Reiki for emotional detox, changing habits technique, unfolding stagnation, sending Reiki through time and space, releasing emotions from the past, energetic cleansing and protection for humans and objects.

• Healer’s skills: practices for increasing sensitivity to energy, techniques for calming the mind, opening the third eye exercises and developing intuition.

• Reiki clinic: in the Level II the practice focuses on how to perform a long term Reiki healing process. During the course each healer gives at least 4 Reiki sessions to the same recipient, learning how to absorb and deal with different reactions that may arise and how to plan and manifest a long healing process. The clinic includes a brain storming in the group about each case in order to be exposed to a variety of healing processes and learn from each other.

• The healer receives another attunement that brings him to a higher level.

Level III (Master Level)- the Master Level of Reiki is taught over one month to those that wish to teach Reiki and to integrate the Reiki path into their life.  The Usui Master Symbol is taught as well as Tibetan symbols, practices for each chakra, healing methods, teaching skills, how to initiate others into Reiki and more

The Reiki Master level is an individualized course allowing the healer to develop in areas that he needs in order to become a true Master.
